Caregiver (North and West Suburbs)

Amada Senior Care NorthShore is seeking an experienced Caregiver to serve seniors throughout Deerfield and the surrounding North and West Suburban communities. This full-time position offers meaningful work supporting older adults with their most essential daily needs.

About This Position

This full-time role places you at the heart of senior care delivery. You'll work directly with clients in their homes throughout the North and West Suburbs, providing hands-on support that enables seniors to age with dignity and comfort. Your work focuses on direct personal care, companionship, and practical daily assistance that makes a real difference in clients' lives.

Core Duties

• Help clients maintain personal hygiene through bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
• Support meal preparation and eating activities
• Provide regular companionship and emotional encouragement
• Assist with light housekeeping and organizing living spaces
• Support clients with mobility and daily activities
• Build trusting relationships that enhance quality of life
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with supervisors

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving or personal care experience
• Genuine compassion and patience with older adults
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and professional punctuality
• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans
• Certification or willingness to obtain required certifications
