Data Analyst (Portuguese)

Join Lightcast as a full-time Data Analyst (Portuguese) in Myrtle Point, Coos County. You'll be instrumental in strengthening our international product capabilities through expert data analysis combined with native Portuguese-language expertise.

Position Summary

This position is essential to Lightcast's vision of expanding global reach with confidence in data quality and linguistic precision. You will combine Portuguese fluency with analytical rigor to evaluate our multilingual outputs, enhance our classification infrastructure, and enable our engineering teams to build more powerful features for customers worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Review and validate Portuguese-language data streams to maintain quality standards across our platform
• Contribute to taxonomy translation initiatives, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness
• Provide analytical and linguistic feedback to support parser and algorithm development efforts
• Monitor classification performance metrics and recommend refinements to improve accuracy
• Investigate data processing anomalies and communicate insights across departments
• Document analysis workflows and findings to support continuous process improvement

Requirements

• Fluent Portuguese language ability (native or advanced proficiency)
• Prior experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or related analytical functions
