About the Role

As a Cook at Soar Restaurants in Sachse, Dallas, you'll work as part of a dynamic culinary team, reporting to the Manager on Duty. This full-time, nonexempt position is hands-on and detail-oriented, requiring skill across multiple kitchen stations and unwavering commitment to food quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook food products to our operational and quality standards, following established recipes and presentation guidelines
• Operate and manage assigned kitchen stations, including the grill, prep stations, dresser, front production area, and back production area
• Package prepared items safely and efficiently, maintaining proper portion control and food handling practices
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures throughout each shift
• Keep your assigned stations and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and ready for service
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure timely, coordinated food preparation
• Take direction from leadership and contribute to a professional, efficient kitchen environment
• Support inventory awareness and material handling as directed

What We're Looking For

• Cook experience in a restaurant, commercial kitchen, or hospitality setting
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment, tools, and cooking fundamentals
• Ability to execute recipes consistently and meet quality standards
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation best practices
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Comfort working in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift regularly, and work efficiently during peak service times
• Teamwork mentality and responsiveness to feedback
