Quality Control Inspector

Aerotek is hiring a Quality Control Inspector in Tucson, Arizona to join our aircraft maintenance operations team. In this full-time role, you'll conduct rigorous inspections and quality assurance on aircraft undergoing maintenance, ensuring every aircraft meets strict safety and regulatory standards before returning to service.

The Quality Control Inspector position at Aerotek in Tucson involves comprehensive oversight of aircraft maintenance and repair operations. You'll examine aircraft during various stages of maintenance—from heavy checks and storage acceptance to component overhaul and system reactivation. Your meticulous attention to technical documentation and inspection protocols will be essential in maintaining the highest safety standards in aviation maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze technical data, maintenance manuals, and engineering specifications to understand inspection requirements
• Conduct detailed visual and functional inspections on hangared aircraft during major maintenance events
• Evaluate aircraft during flightline operations, facility storage acceptance, and recommissioning procedures
• Monitor back shop component repair and overhaul work to confirm quality and regulatory compliance
• Document inspection findings and coordinate with maintenance teams on corrective measures
• Verify that all maintenance activities meet FAA airworthiness standards and Aerotek quality procedures

What You Bring

• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license—required
• Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and FAA compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality discrepancies in technical work
• Proficiency reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals and technical specifications
• Clear communication and accurate documentation of inspection results
