Position Summary
Join Accura Engineering as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and lead the design and implementation of advanced communication distribution systems. In this full-time position at our Anchorage location, you will architect integrated voice, data, and video networks that support critical operations. Your expertise in telecommunications infrastructure design will be central to delivering solutions that meet the complex connectivity requirements of our clients and the organization.
Core Duties
- Design comprehensive communication distribution systems that integrate voice, data, and video network infrastructure
- Develop detailed technical specifications, system drawings, and engineering documentation for implementation teams
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful system deployment and integration
- Assess existing communication infrastructure and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization
- Verify that all system designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and federal requirements
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance throughout the installation, testing, and commissioning phases
Qualifications
- Current Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or equivalent professional credential
- Demonstrated professional experience designing enterprise-scale communication distribution systems
- Strong technical knowledge of voice, data, and video network design and cabling infrastructure standards
- Proficiency with design software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools used in telecommunications engineering
- Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a federal background review and drug screening
