About the Role
Google's Procurement Organization is seeking an accomplished Contracts Manager to oversee complex vendor agreements and supplier relationships. You'll own the full contract journey—from initial negotiation through closure—balancing Google's business interests with sound legal practice and strong supplier partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Direct contracts from conception through final execution, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards
- Draft, review, revise, and execute purchase agreements, amendments, and ancillary procurement documents
- Partner with procurement, legal, finance, and business leaders to align contract terms with organizational objectives and risk tolerance
- Assess legal and compliance risks within proposed agreements and recommend mitigation strategies
- Maintain comprehensive, organized contract repositories and documentation for reporting and audit purposes
- Support vendor negotiations and manage contractual performance obligations throughout the agreement term
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Business Law, or a closely related discipline; or equivalent hands-on experience in contract management
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in contract management, legal services, or procurement functions
- Hands-on proficiency managing contracts across their entire lifecycle—negotiation, drafting, review, execution, and administration
- Demonstrated ability to draft and analyze contracts with strong attention to legal requirements and regulatory compliance
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with contract management platforms and standard business software
