EY seeks an experienced SAP Production Planning consultant for a senior-level role specializing in discrete manufacturing optimization. This full-time consulting position is based in our Huntington, Orange County office. As a trusted advisor in SAP PP module expertise, you'll deliver strategic guidance that transforms production planning operations for enterprise clients across industries.

About the Role

You'll serve as a senior consultant leading critical production planning initiatives where SAP technology drives operational excellence. Your work will span requirements analysis, solution design, implementation oversight, and change management—helping clients optimize their manufacturing and supply chain capabilities through expert SAP PP guidance.

What You'll Do

• Lead discovery and requirements sessions with enterprise clients to identify production planning challenges and strategic opportunities
• Design and configure SAP Production Planning modules aligned with discrete manufacturing best practices and business objectives
• Architect solutions for production scheduling, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional client teams including operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure integrated implementations
• Conduct system testing, validation, and training to drive successful solution adoption
• Develop recommendations for process improvements and manufacturing-to-order or engineer-to-order operational enhancements
• Document technical designs and transfer knowledge to support long-term client success

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) module configuration and implementation
• Proven knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes, production workflows, and manufacturing environments
• Established track record in management consulting or enterprise software advisory roles
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate complex manufacturing challenges into scalable SAP solutions
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive and operational stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or related field
• Prior experience in ERP consulting, manufacturing operations, or supply chain transformation
