About the Role
As a Maintenance Service Assistant at Charter Senior Living of Brookfield, you'll support the daily operations of our senior living community by assisting with maintenance, environmental services, and facility upkeep. You'll work as part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring our residents have access to clean, well-maintained spaces where they can live comfortably and independently.
What You'll Do
- Assist with general maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including repairs and preventive upkeep
- Support environmental services, including cleaning and sanitation of common areas and resident spaces
- Help maintain landscaping and exterior grounds
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
- Operate and maintain equipment safely and according to facility standards
- Support transportation services as needed
- Report maintenance issues and document work completed
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment for all residents and staff
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in senior living, maintenance, environmental services, or transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Positive attitude and genuine care for senior residents
