About the Role
As a Proposal Analyst at Level 2, you'll work within our estimating and proposal development function to support the creation and delivery of winning proposals. You'll be embedded in a collaborative team focused on translating business opportunities into compelling, strategically priced proposals that advance Lockheed Martin's market position and growth objectives.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing comprehensive proposals that address client requirements and competitive landscapes
- Support cost and pricing analysis, ensuring proposals reflect accurate resource allocations and margin targets
- Collaborate with technical, program, and business teams to gather proposal content and validate technical approaches
- Conduct research and due diligence to inform proposal strategy and competitive positioning
- Review, edit, and refine proposal documents for clarity, consistency, and compliance with submission requirements
- Help maintain proposal databases and templates to support repeatable, efficient processes
- Contribute to bid/no-bid evaluations and proposal schedules
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong writing, editing, and oral communication skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in proposal development, estimating, or a related analytical function
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proposal management software preferred
- Familiarity with defense industry practices and proposal standards a plus
