About the Role

As a Research Associate at Cambridge Health Alliance's Institute Community Health in Malden, you'll play a key role in advancing community health research initiatives. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this 40-hour-per-week position provides stable, predictable scheduling with no weekend or holiday requirements. This is a non-union, full-time position offering competitive compensation between $23.02 and $34.71 per hour.

What You'll Do

  • Support the design, implementation, and administration of community health research studies under the guidance of research leadership
  • Collect, organize, and maintain research data while ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional protocols
  • Conduct literature reviews and background research to support ongoing research initiatives and evidence-based practices
  • Assist with participant recruitment, screening, and enrollment processes for research studies
  • Prepare research documentation, including protocols, consent forms, progress reports, and study summaries
  • Coordinate communication between research team members, participants, and partner organizations
  • Maintain detailed records and databases in compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements
  • Support data entry, analysis preparation, and report generation as directed by senior researchers

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences, biology, social sciences, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail in data management and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to follow protocols and maintain confidentiality in a healthcare research environment
