About the Role

As a General Liability Associate Attorney in New Orleans, you'll join a respected general liability practice at a top-tier national law firm. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build your litigation skills while working on diverse, high-impact cases for institutional and commercial clients across the region.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in general liability litigation matters across state and federal courts
• Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, motions, and other court filings
• Draft pleadings and discovery materials in complex liability cases
• Manage client relationships and communicate case strategy and updates
• Attend depositions, mediations, and court hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to advance client objectives
• Develop expertise in liability defense, coverage issues, and risk management

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Louisiana or willingness to obtain admission
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and client service orientation
• Litigation experience is a plus; candidates with strong academic records and motivation to excel in general liability are encouraged to apply
