Tax Administrator

Ascend Partner Firms is hiring a Tax Administrator for our Kirkland office to support our growing tax services practice. As a full-time member of our team, you'll contribute to client success while building a meaningful career in a firm that puts people first.

About the Role

In this position, you'll serve as a key operational support member for our tax team, managing client files, coordinating documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of tax services. You'll work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and strong communication drive client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Organize and maintain comprehensive client tax files and supporting documentation
• Prepare administrative schedules and materials for tax return preparation
• Monitor and manage tax filing deadlines to ensure on-time submissions
• Gather required tax documents and financial information from clients
• Input tax data and maintain client records in accounting systems
• Support tax professionals during busy filing periods
• Verify completeness and accuracy of tax work before final delivery

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework or certification preferred
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet firm deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and willingness to master accounting software platforms
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional services environment
