What You'll Do
- Provide direct, evidence-based patient care including comprehensive assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments following facility protocols and nursing standards of practice
- Manage wound care, post-operative support, and dressing changes for orthopedic and trauma patients
- Work as an integrated member of the surgical and interdisciplinary care team
- Document patient progress, interventions, and clinical changes accurately and timely in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about conditions, recovery milestones, and discharge planning
- Communicate clinical concerns and changing patient status to physicians and nursing leadership
What We're Looking For
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
- Solid foundation in acute-care nursing, with orthopedic or trauma experience preferred
- Clinical judgment, critical thinking, and strong patient advocacy skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and communicate clearly with patients and teams
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice
