Communication Consultant, Employee Experience – Value-Added Services

WTW is hiring a Communication Consultant, Employee Experience – Value-Added Services in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on shaping how organizations connect with and engage their workforce through strategic communication and experience design.

About the Role

Employee experience has become central to organizational success. Every interaction between an employee and their employer—from onboarding to daily tools to career development—shapes how people feel about work and their willingness to contribute their best effort. As a Communication Consultant with WTW, you'll translate deep insights into communication strategies and programs that strengthen these critical touchpoints. You'll partner with clients across diverse industries to identify communication gaps, design targeted initiatives, and measure impact on employee engagement and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Develop employee communication strategies aligned with client business objectives and organizational culture
• Create and execute multi-channel communication campaigns—including written content, digital channels, and in-person events—that drive awareness and adoption of employee programs
• Conduct employee listening research and sentiment analysis to inform communication recommendations
• Collaborate with human resources, benefits, and leadership teams to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across the employee experience
• Build communication roadmaps that support major organizational changes and program launches
• Measure communication effectiveness through metrics and feedback loops, refining approaches based on results
• Coach clients on communication best practices and thought leadership in employee experience

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, marketing, or human resources
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear, persuasive written and verbal communication
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple client engagements
• Understanding of employee experience principles and the business impact of engaged workforces
• Experience designing and managing communication campaigns or employee programs
• Comfort working in a consulting environment with diverse clients and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, human resources, business, or related field
