Residential Coordinator – Fontaine Inn (JR 5500)

Join PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) as a Residential Coordinator at Fontaine Inn in San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, California. This full-time position offers meaningful work supporting individuals experiencing homelessness as they rebuild their lives through our interim housing program.

About the Role

As Residential Coordinator, you'll provide direct care and support to guests staying at Fontaine Inn. You'll maintain a safe and welcoming environment, document participant progress, collaborate with case managers on individualized goals, and connect residents to community resources. This role combines direct service delivery with facility operations, all grounded in evidence-based practices and genuine respect for residents' dignity and potential.

What You'll Do

• Document all participant interactions through detailed progress notes
• Conduct facility orientations and tours for new guests
• Support case managers and participants in achieving individualized housing and stability goals
• Maintain clean, organized, and inclusive interim housing spaces
• Collaborate with operations and case management teams to ensure safety and stability
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
• Apply evidence-based methods including intensive case management, motivational interviewing, and harm reduction
• Connect participants to community resources, referrals, and advocacy support
• Assist with meal preparation, phone coverage, and facility operations
• Model and reinforce program values and house guidelines
• Deliver responsive, empathetic service to all residents

Compensation and Schedule

$26.73–$31.68 per hour (based on experience). Full-time, non-exempt. Available schedules: Tuesday–Saturday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 1:00 PM–9:30 PM; Sunday–Thursday 1:00 PM–9:30 PM; or Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
