About the Role
Top Shelf Trivia produces hundreds of live entertainment shows every week across multiple venues nationwide. As a host for our music bingo, trivia, and karaoke events, you'll be the energy center of each show—creating excitement, keeping games moving smoothly, and ensuring audiences leave with a great experience. This is a part-time role perfect for someone who loves performing and connecting with people in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
What You'll Do
- Host engaging music bingo, trivia, and karaoke competitions with enthusiasm and confidence
- Manage game flow, timing, scoring, and prize distribution to keep events running smoothly
- Build rapport with audiences of varying sizes and demographics
- Operate sound systems, music equipment, and other show technology
- Adapt your hosting approach to different venue atmospheres and crowd energy
- Handle setup, intermissions, and breakdown as needed
What We're Looking For
- Outgoing, charismatic personality with a genuine passion for entertaining others
- Reliable and punctual—the foundation of successful hosting
- High energy and ability to maintain enthusiasm and focus throughout each event
- Strong verbal communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups
- Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate multiple show times and venues
- Experience as a host, performer, DJ, or in similar entertainment roles is a plus
- Willingness to learn our games and show format thoroughly
