About the Role
Gpac is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to expand its real estate practice, particularly in the HOA and condominium association space. You'll work with a team dedicated to handling the full spectrum of association governance, development transactions, and residential real estate legal matters.
What You'll Do
- Handle transactional work for homeowners' associations, condominium associations, and cooperative communities
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, governing documents, and association bylaws
- Counsel HOA boards and developers on compliance, governance, and transaction structuring
- Manage real estate closings and coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Advise clients on regulatory matters affecting associations and residential communities
- Develop and maintain client relationships through clear communication and sound legal counsel
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of transactional experience in real estate law, HOAs, condominium associations, or related fields
- Strong foundation in real estate transaction mechanics and association governance
- Excellent writing and negotiation skills
- Business judgment and client-service orientation
- Licensed to practice law in Maryland
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet client timelines
