About the Role
As a Research Associate II in Analytical Development & Quality Control, you'll support the development and validation of analytical methods that ensure the quality and consistency of our RNA-targeted therapeutics. You'll work in a collaborative laboratory environment where your contributions directly impact the discovery and manufacturing of medicines for patients with serious diseases.
What You'll Do
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for characterizing drug candidates and manufactured materials
- Conduct testing and analysis using standard laboratory instrumentation and techniques
- Prepare detailed reports documenting testing procedures, results, and interpretations
- Support quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Troubleshoot analytical challenges and recommend improvements to testing protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research, manufacturing, and quality assurance
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and contribute to method documentation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in analytical development, quality control, or a similar laboratory role
- Strong technical skills in analytical methods and hands-on laboratory work
- Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation (HPLC, mass spectrometry, or related technologies a plus)
- Ability to follow protocols precisely while exercising independent judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
