Join Education's team as an Extended Care Service professional in Cary, McHenry County. We're building a welcoming, enriching afterschool environment and need dedicated part-time staff to help us serve students through the 2025–2026 school year—with the potential to continue into 2026–2027.
About the Role
The Extended Care Service program operates daily from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, providing a safe and engaging space for students after school. This is a part-time position based in Cary, McHenry County, with morning availability options for the right candidate. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' afterschool experience.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support students during extended care hours in a safe, welcoming environment
- Organize and facilitate age-appropriate activities and programs
- Monitor student behavior, safety, and well-being throughout the program day
- Communicate with families and staff about student progress and program updates
- Help maintain a clean, organized space that supports student learning and development
- Follow all school and program policies and procedures

Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.50 per hour. Benefits information is available through DOR Benefits.
