Assistant Manager

Windsor Fashions is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager for our Garden City, Nassau County store. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll support our mission to help women feel beautiful by leading our team, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About This Position

As Assistant Manager at Windsor Fashions, you'll play a central role in our Garden City location. You'll work alongside our Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the standards that have made Windsor Fashions a trusted fashion destination since 1937.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support store management by overseeing daily operations and team coordination
• Schedule team members, manage shift coverage, and ensure proper staffing levels
• Supervise sales floor and customer service activities to maintain high standards
• Train and mentor team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence
• Manage inventory levels, merchandise displays, and visual presentation
• Handle cash operations, register management, and financial procedures
• Open and close the store according to company procedures
• Help achieve sales goals and monitor team performance

What We're Looking For

• Retail or customer service management experience
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Ability to motivate and train team members
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Organizational and time management skills
• Cash handling and point-of-sale system experience
• Flexibility to work the schedule our Garden City store requires
• Passion for fashion and helping customers find their perfect look
