Surgery Center RN – Very Part Time & No Call

ThedaCare is hiring a Surgery Center Registered Nurse for a very part-time position with no call responsibilities, based in the US. This role offers RNs the chance to deliver surgical patient care on a flexible schedule with daytime, on-site work only.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to patients throughout the perioperative period
• Assist surgical teams and anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and patient response to treatment
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and accurate medical records
• Ensure surgical site preparation and patient safety protocols
• Communicate with patients and families about procedure expectations and recovery
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nursing staff, and surgical technologists

What We're Looking For

• Current, active RN license (state-specific)
• Clinical experience in surgical, perioperative, or acute care (preferred)
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment in fast-paced settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
• Reliability and flexibility for a very part-time schedule
• BLS certification (current or obtainable)
