The RN or LPN - Canby Care Center - Part Time Nights role at Sanford Health in Hendricks invites licensed nurses to provide essential overnight care in a trusted rural health facility.

About the Role

This part‑time position covers eight‑hour night shifts, averaging approximately 24 hours per week, at the Canby Care Center. You will join a dedicated team focused on delivering safe, compassionate care to residents during the evening and overnight hours.

What You'll Do

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with certified nursing assistants, therapists, and other nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies and follow established safety procedures to protect residents and staff.
• Participate in shift handoffs, providing clear communication of resident status and care plans.

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license issued by the State of Minnesota.
• Experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or a similar clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork.
