About the Role
As a mobile notary with Certified Mobile Notary Service, you will travel to clients’ locations to notarize loan documents, ensuring each signing is completed accurately and efficiently. The role combines independent field work with support from a team that provides training, scheduling assistance, and ongoing guidance.
What You'll Do
- Travel to homes, offices, or other agreed‑upon locations within the Kansas City area to perform loan signings
- Verify signer identities, witness signatures, and affix the required notary seal and journal entries
- Maintain accurate records of each appointment in accordance with state notary laws
- Communicate clearly with signing services, title companies, and clients to confirm appointment details
- Stay current on Missouri notary regulations and best practices through ongoing training
What We're Looking For
- Active Missouri notary commission (or eligibility to obtain one quickly)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Jackson County
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safeguarding confidential information
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with a diverse clientele
- Basic familiarity with loan signing documents is preferred, but comprehensive training is provided for newcomers
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and respond promptly to assignment requests
