Haygor Instrument & Company is looking for a Quality Manager to oversee the quality department at its Golden Acres, Harris County location.
In this role you will guide the team that ensures products meet rigorous standards, drive continuous improvement, and serve as the main point of contact for all quality-related matters across the organization.
About the Role
The Quality Manager leads daily operations of the quality function, develops policies that support compliance and performance, and fosters a culture where accountability and improvement are embedded in every process.
What You'll Do
- Direct the quality department, providing coaching and development to team members to maintain high performance
- Act as the primary contact for quality inquiries, investigations, and regulatory interactions
- Create, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Plan and conduct internal audits, manage corrective and preventive action processes, and track effectiveness
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Monitor key quality metrics, analyze trends, and report results to management
- Ensure adherence to applicable industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements
- Lead initiatives that promote continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational excellence
