About the Role
This full‑time position puts you behind the wheel of a dedicated dry van tractor‑trailer, running consistent lanes across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. You’ll enjoy weekly home time, a $2,000 sign‑on bonus, and the chance to represent U.S. Xpress with professionalism at every customer stop.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on dedicated routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and comply with DOT regulations
- Load and unload dry van cargo, securing shipments according to company and customer standards
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse staff, and receivers to provide updates and resolve issues
- Keep the tractor and trailer clean, report maintenance needs promptly, and adhere to safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- 1‑5 months of verified over‑the‑road experience (or equivalent training)
- Ability to follow dedicated schedules and maintain weekly home time
