About the Role

As a Service Technician, you'll be the backbone of our maintenance operations, responding to resident requests and performing preventive maintenance across the community. You'll troubleshoot equipment, repair systems, and maintain the highest standards of property upkeep that Greystar residents expect.

What You'll Do

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical components, and HVAC equipment
• Execute repairs to walls, flooring, doors, fixtures, and other interior and exterior elements
• Maintain detailed logs of work orders, materials used, and time spent on each task
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding maintenance needs and completed work
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant property environment
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and property management staff on larger projects

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar hands-on maintenance role
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair techniques
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, professional demeanor and excellent communication abilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to emergency maintenance situations
