Clinical Applications Consultant – Lab/Hemostasis – Seattle Territory

Werfen, a global diagnostics innovator headquartered in Barcelona and based in Seattle, King County, is seeking a full-time Clinical Applications Consultant specializing in hemostasis and laboratory diagnostics for the Seattle territory.

About the Role

As a Clinical Applications Consultant with Werfen, you will serve as a trusted expert and resource to healthcare systems, clinical laboratories, and diagnostic professionals across the Seattle region. You'll support the adoption, optimization, and clinical validation of our hemostasis testing solutions, helping lab directors and technicians deliver faster, more reliable patient results.

What You'll Do

• Provide clinical consultation and technical support on hemostasis assays and laboratory instrumentation to hospital and reference laboratories
• Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on testing protocols, troubleshooting, and best practices in coagulation and bleeding disorder diagnostics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with laboratory directors, pathologists, and clinical teams across your assigned territory
• Support the implementation and validation of new hemostasis testing methods and customized assays
• Stay current with advances in hemostasis diagnostics and transfusion medicine to inform clinical recommendations
• Collaborate with Werfen's research and development teams to gather field feedback and inform product innovation

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in clinical laboratory science, particularly hemostasis, coagulation testing, or acute care diagnostics
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and assay validation processes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex diagnostic concepts to clinical professionals
• Territory management experience and a track record of building client relationships
• Willingness to travel within the Seattle territory to support customers on-site
• Relevant certification (MT, ASCP, or equivalent) a plus
