About the Role
As a full-time Maintenance Technician I, you'll play a vital role in keeping our Virginia Beach property running smoothly. Working the second shift, you'll perform preventive maintenance, respond to repair requests, and ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently. What You'll Do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions across guest rooms and common areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders during second shift hours
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment inspections
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize urgent repairs and scheduled maintenance
- Comply with safety protocols and building codes while performing all tasks
- Support facility cleanliness and prepare spaces for guest needs
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus
- Hands-on experience with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working evening and night shifts
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in delivering quality service
- Valid driver's license may be required
