Anticipated Title 1 Preschool Paraeducator – Grant Funded

Join Nashua School District as a Title 1 Preschool Paraeducator at Ledge Street Elementary School, a high-needs school committed to supporting young learners. This is a full-time, grant-funded position beginning August 24, 2026, designed to provide essential instructional and behavioral support in our preschool program.

About the Role

As a Preschool Paraeducator, you'll work within our Student Support Services team, partnering with classroom teachers to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment for preschool-age students. This Title 1 position is specifically funded to support students with the greatest academic and developmental needs, ensuring every child receives the attention required to thrive during these critical early learning years.

What You'll Do

• Assist teachers with daily preschool instruction, including small-group and individual learning activities
• Support classroom management and create a safe, nurturing environment for young learners
• Help implement instructional strategies and use of learning materials aligned with preschool standards
• Work with students who have diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs or developmental delays
• Assist with formative assessments and document student progress as directed by the teacher
• Prepare classroom materials, manipulatives, and learning centers
• Communicate with families and support home-school connections when appropriate
