About the Role

As Director of North America Seller Experience, you'll lead the vision and execution of seller-focused programs that strengthen retention, growth, and satisfaction across our marketplace. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify barriers to seller success, design solutions, and measure impact at scale. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership—you'll manage teams, own P&Ls, and serve as the voice of our seller community within eBay leadership.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute seller experience strategies for North American markets, prioritizing retention, revenue growth, and operational ease
• Lead, mentor, and scale teams across customer success, seller operations, and product partnerships
• Partner with product, engineering, and policy teams to translate seller feedback into marketplace features and programs
• Analyze seller segmentation, pain points, and behavior to identify high-impact improvement opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with top-performing sellers and seller groups
• Own key metrics including seller lifetime value, satisfaction scores, and category performance
• Create programs and tools that reduce seller friction—from onboarding through scaling their business

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in seller operations, customer success, marketplace management, or related leadership roles
• Proven ability to manage teams, develop talent, and drive organizational change
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide strategy and measure impact
• Deep understanding of ecommerce, marketplaces, or SMB business dynamics
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Strategic mindset combined with operational excellence and bias toward execution
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
