Fortinet is seeking a Senior Manager for its Finance Deals Desk in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. In this full-time position, you'll lead a strategic commercial team focused on transforming how we structure and accelerate enterprise sales through data-driven deal architecture and financial innovation.
About the Role
The Finance Deals Desk is a cornerstone of our competitive sales advantage, serving as the bridge between commercial strategy, financial excellence, and customer outcomes. You'll oversee the transition from conventional deal support to an advanced, analytics-powered commercial framework that empowers our sales organization to close complex, high-value transactions. Leading an established team of senior finance professionals, you'll drive the development of sophisticated deal structures, financial solutions, and process frameworks that elevate deal quality and execution velocity.
What You'll Do
- Direct deal strategy and financial architecture for large-scale enterprise transactions
- Partner with Sales leadership to engineer competitive, profitable deal structures tailored to customer requirements
- Develop and implement analytical frameworks that inform deal decisions and improve sales performance
- Design processes, tools, and governance models that standardize deal excellence across the organization
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals in commercial deal management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Procurement to manage compliance and risk
- Evaluate deal economics, profitability, and commercial performance to drive strategic improvements
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in corporate finance, deal management, or commercial strategy, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in deal structuring, financial modeling, and complex commercial problem-solving
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in financial analysis and data-driven decision-making
- Proven success building, scaling, and leading high-performing finance teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA a plus
