About the Role
As a Family Nurse Practitioner at Fast Pace Health, you'll lead patient care in a busy outpatient clinic serving Poseyville and the surrounding Posey County area. This full-time position combines clinical excellence with team collaboration in a modern healthcare environment committed to accessible, quality care.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients across the lifespan, performing comprehensive health assessments and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and preventive health conditions
- Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures
- Prescribe medications and monitor therapeutic effectiveness and patient adherence
- Create evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and self-management strategies
- Maintain thorough, compliant electronic health records in real time
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff
- Stay current with clinical guidelines and adapt to new technologies and protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-BC or FNP-C)
- Active state RN license and DEA registration for prescriptive authority
- Valid CPR certification
- Clinical experience in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care settings
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to work productively in fast-paced, team-oriented settings
- Flexibility and openness to adopting new clinical workflows and technology systems
