Maximus is hiring an AI Compliance & Technology Analyst in Indianapolis, Marion County to strengthen our audit and risk management operations. This is a full-time position focused on evaluating technology systems, identifying compliance gaps, and delivering actionable insights through rigorous analysis and reporting.
About the Role
You'll serve as a trusted advisor in our compliance and audit function, responsible for examining organizational processes and systems to uncover risks, control deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Working within defined scope and timelines, you'll conduct systematic reviews, gather evidence, and translate complex findings into clear recommendations that drive meaningful change.
What You'll Do
- Execute planned audits across assigned areas, staying within agreed scope boundaries and delivery schedules
- Conduct structured interviews with stakeholders and collect relevant evidence to support audit conclusions
- Identify risks, control gaps, and internal inconsistencies that could impact compliance or operational effectiveness
- Document audit findings with clear analysis of root causes and potential business impact
- Develop practical, implementable recommendations to address identified issues
- Communicate results and assessments through comprehensive written reports and oral presentations to leadership
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by flagging systemic risks and trends
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to conduct structured interviews, evaluate evidence objectively, and draw sound conclusions
- Experience with audit methodologies, compliance frameworks, or internal controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical findings for different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple audit engagements and prioritize effectively
