About the Role

As a Medical Secretary at Texas Tech University System, you'll manage the day-to-day administrative operations of medical departments, coordinating between faculty, staff, students, and patients. What You'll Do

• Manage scheduling, correspondence, and records for medical faculty and departments
• Prepare medical reports, summaries, and documentation using appropriate medical and scientific terminology
• Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and organize files following HIPAA and institutional compliance protocols
• Handle patient inquiries, confidential information, and administrative communications with professionalism and discretion
• Support enrollment, registration, and administrative processes for medical education programs
• Maintain knowledge of departmental procedures, institutional policies, and university systems
