About the Role
This is a technical support-to-sales role with no sales quota. You'll work alongside our commercial team to elevate technical discussions, qualify opportunities through deep engineering analysis, and position GRT Corporation's ESA-based solutions as the authoritative choice for electrical fault detection and diagnosis.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical conversations with prospective customers, explaining electrical signature analysis principles and demonstrating how our platform detects faults across electrical systems
- Conduct live demonstrations of ESA and signal processing capabilities, answering detailed technical questions from engineering teams and facility managers
- Defend the physics and mathematics underlying our fault detection algorithms, helping customers understand why our approach outperforms legacy methods
- Support the sales team through the technical evaluation process, including custom assessments, proof-of-concept planning, and RFP responses
- Develop and refine technical documentation, case studies, and white papers that help customers understand ESA applications in their specific industries
- Collaborate with our engineering team to gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancement
What We're Looking For
- Principal-level expertise in electrical engineering with deep knowledge of electrical signature analysis, fault detection, and diagnostics
- Strong background in signal processing, power systems analysis, or related disciplines
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in language that resonates with diverse audiences—from plant engineers to C-suite stakeholders
- Experience in a pre-sales, customer engineering, or solutions engineering role where you've guided technical evaluations
- Comfort presenting to customer groups and fielding challenging technical questions with clarity and confidence
- Curiosity about customer problems and a consultative approach to problem-solving
