About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled linguist with native or near-native fluency in both French and Bambara to support U.S. government initiatives. You will be a key language professional deployed to locations outside the continental United States, where your linguistic and cultural expertise directly impacts mission success. This is a field-intensive role requiring flexibility, security clearance compliance, and a commitment to operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Provide real-time interpretation and translation between French and Bambara speakers in operational contexts
• Deliver accurate linguistic support during briefings, debriefings, and sensitive communications
• Transcribe, translate, and analyze language-based operational materials
• Travel to designated locations outside the continental United States (up to 25% of the year) to support field operations
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all security protocols and information handling procedures
• Collaborate with government personnel to ensure mission objectives are met

What We're Looking For

• Current or obtainable Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph capability
• Native or near-native fluency in both French and Bambara
• Demonstrated experience in interpretation, translation, or linguistic analysis
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the year outside the continental United States
• Strong cultural competency and understanding of West African and Francophone contexts
• Professional communication skills and ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility to obtain required security clearance
