Responsibilities

• Assemble airframes, avionics, propulsion modules, and payloads for unmanned aircraft systems according to approved drawings, work instructions, and bill-of-materials lists.
• Route and terminate wiring harnesses, install sensors and connectors, and seat mechanical fasteners using the correct torque and alignment methods.
• Perform intermediate functional checks, continuity tests, and visual quality inspections at defined build stages, logging results thoroughly.
• Operate hand tools, torque drivers, soldering stations, crimpers, and basic shop equipment while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.
• Identify non-conformances, complete rework or adjustments under guidance, and escalate complex issues to engineering support.
• Update build records, traveler cards, and inventory counts so production status remains accurate and traceable.
• Follow all safety, electrostatic-discharge, and foreign-object-debris protocols required during UAS assembly operations.

What You Bring

• Proven experience assembling electromechanical or aerospace-related systems, preferably drones or similar unmanned platforms.
• Skill in precision soldering, cable routing, mechanical fastening, and the safe use of common production tools.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and step-by-step assembly procedures with high accuracy.
• Solid grasp of basic electronics and mechanical principles plus strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Manual dexterity for intricate component work and comfort standing for extended periods in a manufacturing setting.
• Reliable communication habits for team coordination and clear documentation of work performed.
• High-school diploma or equivalent; any technical certificate in electronics, avionics, or manufacturing is beneficial.
