About the Role

Our New Graduate Nurse Residency Program is intentionally designed for recent nursing graduates entering their first professional position. You'll develop clinical competency and professional confidence within an academic medical center that combines advanced patient care, clinical research, and comprehensive staff development. This structured residency prepares you to deliver high-quality nursing care while building the professional judgment and clinical skills needed for long-term success in healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care under preceptor guidance and supervision
• Apply evidence-based nursing standards in diverse clinical environments
• Participate in formal orientation programming and clinical education modules
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document patient interactions and communicate clinical assessments effectively
• Develop strong clinical judgment through mentored patient encounters

What We're Looking For

• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Recent graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ASN preferred)
• Genuine commitment to patient-centered care delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Willingness to work collaboratively across clinical teams
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
