Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is hiring a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. In this full-time role, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning for our firm and clients, managing complex financial planning initiatives and driving digital transformation in enterprise resource planning.

About the Role

As a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Manager, you will be responsible for directing mid-to-large scale implementations, overseeing system configuration and technical architecture, and ensuring adoption across finance and business teams. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Adaptive Planning capabilities, best practices, and integration with broader ERP ecosystems, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with client stakeholders to deliver measurable financial planning improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and delivery of Workday Adaptive Planning implementations for advisory clients
  • Direct system configuration, data modeling, and integration with Workday Finance and third-party applications
  • Develop financial planning processes, forecasting models, and reporting frameworks that align with client business objectives
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams through implementation lifecycle
  • Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design workshops with C-suite and operations teams
  • Build custom KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide ongoing optimization recommendations and knowledge transfer to ensure client success post-launch

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical implementations and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Finance, data integration, and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience in advisory, consulting, or financial services environments
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
