About the Role

As a Principal focused on high-net-worth taxation, you'll architect comprehensive tax solutions for complex client situations. This role combines client-facing advisory work with thought leadership and team development, positioning you to influence both client outcomes and firm direction in one of today's most dynamic advisory practices.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute sophisticated tax planning strategies for affluent individuals, families, and their business interests
• Lead client engagements from discovery through implementation, serving as the primary advisor on multi-faceted tax matters
• Analyze complex financial structures—including investments, real estate holdings, business ownership, and wealth transfers—to identify tax optimization opportunities
• Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering professional development and technical excellence
• Contribute to firm thought leadership through advisory insights, technical expertise, and client success stories
• Manage client relationships and expand the firm's high-net-worth practice through trusted counsel and results-driven service

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in high-net-worth tax planning, advising families and individuals with complex assets and income sources
• Deep knowledge of federal and state tax law, including estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and business tax optimization
• Strong track record managing sophisticated tax engagements and building lasting client relationships
• Leadership experience and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
• CPA licensure required; advanced credentials (such as CFP, EA, or LLM in taxation) are advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex tax concepts for diverse clients
