Triage Staffing LLC is hiring a Travel CT Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Portsmouth, VA, starting July 6, 2026. Full-time position offering $2,274 per week on an overnight shift schedule.

About the Role

This is a temporary travel radiology position for a skilled Computed Tomography technician based in Portsmouth. The assignment runs for 13 weeks on the night shift, ideal for healthcare professionals seeking contract work with predictable hours and strong weekly compensation. You'll work 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, providing diagnostic imaging support during overnight operations.

What You'll Do

• Operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient evaluation
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation during imaging studies
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures to maintain imaging standards and radiation safety
• Communicate with radiologists and clinical staff regarding imaging results and patient care requirements
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation throughout the imaging process
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly

What We're Looking For

• Current ARRT certification (or equivalent state certification) as a CT Technologist
• Proven experience operating CT imaging systems in a clinical setting
• Ability to work independently during night shift hours with strong attention to detail
• Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical teams
• Valid driver's license (travel positions may require local relocation during the contract)
• Flexibility and adaptability to different facility protocols and equipment
