Orion Placement is hiring a Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney for our Roseland, Sonoma County office. If you're ready to lead your own caseload while learning from seasoned trial attorneys, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll join a respected plaintiff-side litigation practice focused on personal injury and medical malpractice claims. This is your opportunity to manage substantial cases while gaining real exposure to complex, high-value litigation. Work directly with experienced trial attorneys committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients facing serious harm.
What You'll Do
- Lead your own personal injury and medical malpractice cases from initial client consultation through resolution
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships as primary counsel on assigned matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Manage case timelines, deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Prepare for and conduct depositions and client meetings
- Collaborate with trial counsel on case strategy and trial preparation
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor and California bar admission (or eligibility)
- Strong legal research and writing abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
- Commitment to plaintiff advocacy and client service
