About the Role

In this General Professional V role within the Office of Elections, you'll be an essential part of Hawaii's election management infrastructure. You'll contribute to the smooth operation of voter registration systems, election preparation, and official record-keeping that ensures eligible citizens can exercise their right to vote. This is meaningful public service work that directly impacts democratic processes across Oahu.

What You'll Do

• Manage voter registration records, updates, and database maintenance with precision and attention to detail
• Prepare election materials, including ballots, poll worker supplies, and official documentation
• Coordinate communications with poll sites, election judges, and local officials
• Support compliance with state and federal election laws and regulations
• Process applications, requests, and inquiries from voters and election staff
• Maintain confidential election records and sensitive documentation securely
• Provide administrative support during election cycles and special voting events

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification a plus
• Proven experience in government, elections administration, or office-based roles
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities in a regulated environment

Position Details

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pearl City, Oahu. Salary ranges from $6,043 to $7,351 monthly (SR-24, Step D–I), based on qualifications and available funds.
