About the Role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Lehigh Acres, FL. This temporary placement combines professional challenge with geographic flexibility—ideal for therapists ready to expand their experience while making meaningful contributions to patient outcomes. Work a consistent five-day, eight-hour schedule during daytime hours, maintaining work-life balance while you explore Southwest Florida.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans addressing orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions and progression protocols aligned with evidence-based clinical practice
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
- Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient rehabilitation outcomes
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, regulatory standards, and professional ethical guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Active Physical Therapy license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one
- Demonstrated clinical competence in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered care philosophy
- Flexibility and professionalism in fast-paced healthcare settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
