About the Role

In this role, you'll manage all daily operations of the Health & Beauty department at our North Richmond location. You'll develop your leadership capabilities while overseeing team performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring your department meets company standards for customer service and profitability.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, and mentor Health & Beauty associates, setting clear performance goals and delivering ongoing feedback
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular audits, stock rotation, and loss prevention practices
• Execute visual merchandising standards and promotional displays that align with Walmart guidelines
• Foster a customer-first environment that drives sales and builds loyalty
• Monitor department metrics including sales performance, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with store leadership and other departments to support company initiatives
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and all applicable regulations

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in retail or a related environment
• Natural leadership ability and strong communication skills
• Customer service orientation with a focus on sales and satisfaction
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical capability to regularly lift and stock merchandise (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing competing priorities
• Comfort using retail point-of-sale and inventory management systems

Compensation

This position offers an hourly wage between $24.50 and $37.50 per hour, based on experience and location standards. Your rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage for North Richmond. You'll also be eligible for annual and quarterly performance incentives. Additional shift differentials and pay premiums may apply based on schedule and specific circumstances.
