Aya Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Concord, MA. This full-time position in the West Concord area of Middlesex County offers competitive compensation ($1,312–$1,542 weekly) and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient rehabilitation while building your healthcare career across different clinical environments.
About the Role
As a Travel PTA, you'll provide direct patient support in a fast-paced outpatient physical therapy clinic. You'll work alongside licensed physical therapists, assisting with therapeutic exercises, patient mobility, and treatment sessions. This is a day-shift position running five 8-hour days per week, with a start date of July 20, 2026.
What You'll Do
- Support patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities under therapist supervision
- Document treatment progress and maintain accurate patient records
- Prepare treatment areas and organize equipment for therapy sessions
- Assist with patient positioning and safe transfers
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report observations to the supervising therapist
- Maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor with patients and clinical staff
What We're Looking For
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts
- Experience in outpatient or clinical rehabilitation settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team
