Certified Surgical Technician – Orthopedic Surgery Center

Park City Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our Oakley-based orthopedic specialty surgery center. In this full-time position, you'll work in a dynamic surgical environment alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons, delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest surgical standards.

About the Role

Park City Surgery Center is a specialized ambulatory surgical facility dedicated to orthopedic procedures. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you'll be essential to the operating room team, ensuring surgical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency at our Oakley, Summit County location.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and manage sterile surgical fields, instruments, and equipment for orthopedic cases
• Assist surgeons during operations, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipation
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and surgical supplies throughout procedures
• Monitor and uphold patient safety protocols during surgical cases
• Sterilize and properly maintain surgical instruments and equipment to facility standards
• Coordinate with anesthesia, nursing, and surgical teams to optimize case flow and efficiency
• Demonstrate unwavering commitment to sterile technique and infection prevention

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential
• Proven experience working in an operating room or surgical center environment
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to function effectively in a demanding pace
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
• Deep commitment to patient safety and sterile protocols
• Adaptability and problem-solving in a busy surgical setting
