Acquisition Analyst with Security Clearance

ARServices, Limited is seeking a full-time Acquisition Analyst with an active security clearance to support federal government national security programs in Alexandria, Virginia. This on-site role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to complex program management and strategic advisory initiatives for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

About the Role

As an Acquisition Analyst, you will serve as a key analytical resource supporting the planning, evaluation, and execution of federal acquisition strategies. Working within a mission-focused environment, you'll analyze procurement requirements, evaluate proposals and alternatives, and help optimize the acquisition lifecycle for programs addressing national security priorities.

What You'll Do

• Conduct detailed analyses of acquisition requirements, timelines, and cost drivers to support program decision-making
• Evaluate contractor proposals, technical approaches, and cost estimates against program baselines and regulatory requirements
• Develop acquisition strategies and documentation aligned with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards
• Support contract management activities, including milestone tracking, performance assessment, and compliance verification
• Identify and assess acquisition risks, schedule challenges, and cost implications
• Prepare reports, briefings, and analyses for government and company leadership
• Collaborate with program managers, finance teams, and engineering staff to align acquisition planning with technical and resource requirements

What We're Looking For

• An active, valid security clearance (Secret or higher preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with federal acquisition processes, contracting, or program management analysis
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in cost-benefit and schedule analysis
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and defense acquisition policy
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, economics, or a related field
