CDL-A Company Driver – OTR – Specialized

Join UACL Logistics as a full-time CDL-A Company Driver based in Island, hauling specialized over-dimensional wind equipment across the country. We're seeking experienced drivers to support our expanding operations with competitive compensation ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually.

About the Role

As an over-dimensional wind equipment driver, you'll operate company-owned commercial vehicles on long-haul routes throughout the US. This specialized position focuses on safely transporting oversized wind turbine components and related heavy cargo, demanding both precision driving and expertise managing complex loads.

What You'll Do

• Transport over-dimensional and specialized wind equipment cargo via commercial vehicle operations
• Execute complex routing for oversized loads requiring permits and logistical coordination
• Maintain comprehensive logbooks and adhere to all DOT regulatory requirements
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize routes and delivery schedules
• Secure cargo and ensure safe, on-time delivery to designated locations

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 6 months of professional driving experience
• Prior experience hauling specialized or heavy equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Capacity to work independently on over-the-road assignments
• Current DOT medical certification
