Join Kitsap Mental Health Services as Director of Philanthropy in Bremerton, Kitsap County, where you'll lead strategic fundraising initiatives to expand access to mental health services across our community. This full-time position offers competitive compensation of $106,849.60 – $136,219.20 annually, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
About the Role
As our Director of Philanthropy, you'll develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports Kitsap Mental Health Services' mission. This leadership role focuses on building sustainable funding sources and cultivating partnerships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors throughout the Bremerton area and region.
What You'll Do
- Create and implement multi-year fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with major donors and foundation partners
- Research, write, and manage grant proposals and submissions
- Lead the planning and execution of donor appreciation events and campaigns
- Build strategic partnerships with community organizations to expand fundraising capacity
- Track fundraising performance, prepare donor reports, and communicate progress to leadership
- Oversee the development function and mentor team members as needed
